CruzControlDetails provides professional automotive detailing services. By booking a service, requesting a quote, or using this website, you ("the Customer," "you," or "your") agree to these Terms of Service.
If you book an appointment with us, the terms specific to that booking — including deposits, cancellations, and access requirements — are set out in our Service Agreement, which works alongside these Terms.
1. Use of This Website
1.1 This website is provided for the purpose of learning about our services, requesting quotes, and booking appointments. You agree to use it only for lawful purposes and not to misuse, copy, or interfere with its content or functionality.
1.2 All content on this website — including text, photos, logos, and branding — is the property of CruzControlDetails unless otherwise stated, and may not be reproduced or used without our written permission.
2. Service Expectations
While we strive for exceptional results on every vehicle, automotive detailing is a cosmetic and maintenance service — not a restoration service. Results depend on the starting condition of your vehicle, and we'll always be upfront with you about what's realistic.
Our services may improve:
-
Vehicle appearance
-
Surface cleanliness
-
Odour reduction
-
Interior sanitation
-
Paint gloss and protection
However, we cannot guarantee the removal or correction of:
-
Permanent stains
-
Paint damage
-
Deep scratches
-
Burn marks
-
Dye transfer
-
Sun damage
-
Excessive wear and tear
-
Pet hair embedded in upholstery
-
Mould or biological contamination
Results vary based on vehicle condition, and we'll communicate any limitations with you before or during service whenever possible.
3. Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service, before or during an appointment, if:
-
Vehicle conditions pose a health or safety risk
-
Excessive mould is present
-
Hazardous materials are present
-
Biohazard waste is present
-
Unsafe working conditions exist at the service location
-
Customer behaviour is abusive, threatening, or unsafe toward our team
If service is refused or discontinued for any of the above reasons, our standard cancellation terms (outlined in the Service Agreement) will apply.
4. Pricing & Estimates
4.1 All pricing provided before an in-person inspection is an estimate based on the information given at the time of quoting.
4.2 Final pricing may increase due to conditions not disclosed at the time of the estimate, including:
-
Excessive contamination
-
Pet hair
-
Sand
-
Mud
-
Excessive garbage
-
Biological contamination
-
Oversized vehicles
-
Additional requested services
4.3 You will always be notified and asked to approve any additional charges before they are applied — we will never add charges to your invoice without your knowledge.
5. Booking & Appointment Terms
Specific terms that apply once you book an appointment — including deposits, payment, cancellations and rescheduling, access requirements, vehicle condition disclosure, personal property, our satisfaction guarantee, and liability — are set out in our Service Agreement, provided to you at the time of booking and available on our website. By booking, you agree to both these Terms of Service and the Service Agreement.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CruzControlDetails' liability for any claim relating to our services or this website shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, except where such liability cannot be limited under applicable law. Liability specific to a given appointment is further addressed in the Service Agreement.
7. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in our business practices or for legal reasons. The version posted on our website at the time you book or use our services will apply. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Province of New Brunswick for services rendered in New Brunswick, and by the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia for services rendered in Nova Scotia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the province in which the service was performed.
9. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
